On Tuesday, Theron, who is also a UN Messenger of Peace, took to social media to share shocking images of the floods’ aftermath. In her message, Theron urged her global fans and followers to donate to disaster relief to help the many families who have lost their homes and loved ones as a result of the recent floods.

Charlize Theron is a human rights activist as well as an actress. Charlize believes in assisting those in need, and her current concentration is on her home country of South Africa. The Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project, which she founded in response to the tragedy in KZN, is prepared to provide a helping hand by going on a mission to gather funds for victims of the KwaZulu-Natal floods.

The actress, who is based in the United States, took to social media on Tuesday to express her sadness over the recent events in her homeland, stressing that her organization, CTAOP, is working to provide immediate assistance by asking people to give to the flood relief fund.

The Bombshell actress highlighted how potential contributors might help support the project, emphasizing that all money will go to the people who are affected. Every $8000 (about R118 000) we raise helps our partners provide displaced families residing in community halls with one week’s worth of support (food, water, and basic needs). According to Theron, the most important task for CTAOP is to help their KZN partners in whatever issues they face.

CTAOP, according to the Oscar winner, has made it simple for people all around the world to donate. “All of these contributions will go directly to this work – there will be no fees.” Please contribute what you can and/or SHARE this post or the fundraiser to help us spread the word.” Charlize’s KZN Relief Fund has raised over R100,000 so far.

Many people have offered their help in various forms, including money and resources, in response to the situation in KZN. The last few days have been particularly difficult for most communities in South Africa’s KwaZulu-Natal province, which were ravaged by sudden and unavoidable floods that wreaked havoc on almost every corner of the province, destroying thousands of homes, businesses, shopping malls, schools, and warehouses. So many families have been left bereft as a result of the deaths of some of their family members as a result of floods and mudslides, with over 400 individuals confirmed dead so far.
